SP Ultraflex Systems (P) Limited specializes in manufacturing slitter rewinders and slitting rewinding machines for paper, plastic films, aluminium foil and flexible laminates. These slitting machines and rewinding machines are broadly categorized as converting machines and are used by manufacturers of Flexible packaging material in conjunction with Rotogravure/ Flexographic printing and Lamination equipment for the production of laminated reels and pouches.
The company is located at the outskirts of Mumbai in Mira Road, about 30 minutes from both the domestic and international airports of Mumbai.
An intense focus on Slitting rewinding technology accompanied by a close attention to detail, willingness to experiment, continuous innovations and value engineering concepts have enabled SP Ultraflex to build up an enviable customer list which includes the more fastidious and discerning customers in domestic and international markets.
The engineering, automation and product development team finds direction in its efforts from customers' suggestions and feedback which are looked upon as invaluable inputs in the relentless journey in pursuit of excellence.
SP Ultraflex has supplied more than 100 machines worldwide of which more than 25 customers have 3 or more installations. All in the past 6 years since when the company decided to focus exclusively on Slitting rewinding machines, after having made its mark as a preferred manufacturer of Rotogravure Printing and Lamination machines in the past 2 decades.
While the company has adopted the duplex, differential centre-winding technology as its central theme, specific preferences, output requirements and automation levels of the customer have been addressed by manufacturing these slitter rewinders in four different web configurations, each offering specific benefits in their differing layouts and features. These are the DSR RL, DSR FL, ULTRASLIT ™ OHP and the ROBOSLIT ™.
